Post Castelijn
Post Castelijn has been providing casting direction for (award-winning) feature films, television series, commercials, theatre performances, musicals and voice assignments for over thirty years.
What The Studio has designed a new visual identity for Post Castelijn, one that represents both the quality and experience of the company, as well as their freshness and eye for new talent.
In this visual identity, we let the pictures do the talking. Post Castelijn has a vast portfolio of well known productions they have been involved in: by just showing a still frame of one of their films or tv-series, people in the Netherlands can identify the title of a production.
We designed a website where a random selection of productions gets stacked on the homepage every time a visitor lands on it. Every ‘card’ on the stack can be swiped away, revealing a new one under it, in a never ending collection of productions.
The graphics on the visual identity are inspired by the black bars that are typically placed above and below film footage. We followed this form and composition to design Post Castelijn’s logo as a flexible frame that surrounds content (either text or image), adapting to any format.
The flexibility of this visual identity system has come to life across multiple environments such as website, social media, office signage or team clothing.
