Nederlands Theater Festival (NTF) yearly brings together the best of Dutch and Flemish Theater. Following up with the bold and playful tone of voice we designed for the festival back in 2018, the campaign images and visual identity keep evolving every year, presenting every new edition in a festive and surprising style.
The campaign images reflect on what happened in the theatre world after two years of Covid-19. From spending lots of time at home and being physically far from other humans, new forms of theatre have emerged. The key visuals portray two new and strange beings that are coming out of this period of experimentation. They couldn't go to the hairdresser, and ordered online more than ever. The result are unrecognisable characters made of hair and bubble wrap, shot in a staged and theatrical setting.
Furthermore, a flexible visual identity system helps to introduce all festival events and practical information in a recognisable branding that allows for infinite variations and adaptations. Next to the campaign images and outdoor poster campaign, we designed visuals for screens, a program brochure, dressing to be displayed at theatre venues, animations, a festival trailer, and more.
